How much time do you spend on the Internet each week?
In July 1969 Apollo 11 touched down on the surface of the moon and in December 1969 the first four computers were connected to what has become the Internet. The Internet grew steadily from 1969 but in the mid-1990s underwent a major growth fuelled by improvements in the world’s telecommunications infrastructures; smaller, cheaper, and more powerful computers; and new ways of accessing information, particularly the world-wide-web. By the end of 2006, over 17% of the global population were Internet users. The Internet has influenced most aspects of our lives and many people now refer to the world-wide-web as ‘cyberspace’.
We are conducting a survey to see how much time people spend in cyberspace.
