Buzby Vinyl RecordHere is an old vinyl 45 rpm Buzby single record entitled Make someone happy every day. Side A is the title song Make someone happy every day and the flipside, side B, is another song simply called, Buzby. These songs are of course, sung by the voice of Buzby, Mr Bernard Cribbins. The record was produced by Ray Morgan and Kenny Lynch, arranged by R Bowkett and copyright Post Office Telecommunications 1976 1978. It is catalogued as PYE Records 7N 46140. |

Buzby New Telephone Number CardThese cards were produced so that you could inform your friends and family
of your new telephone number. This particular version originates from
1980 and features Buzby perched on a telephone line announcing New telephone

Buzby EnvelopeBuzby also appeared on standard BT stationery. Shown here is an envelope
that was supplied to customers in order for them to send payment for their
telephone bill. It reminds the customer to enclose their bill counterfoil
with their payment. It also features Buzby standing on a telephone wire
and singing that cheap rate is from 6pm to 8am and all weekend and 8pm
to 6am and all weekend to many countries abroad through International
direct dial. |

Buzby Jumper Knitting PatternThere was a fashion in the late 1970s and early 1980s for colourful knitted jumpers often promoted by television celebrities such as Gyles Brandreth. Buzby was not to be left out and here is a knitting pattern to create your very own Buzby jumper! It carries the name of Post Office Telecommunications on the front, was printed by Moore and Matthes (Printers) Ltd, London and is marked with the reference number PH 2753. On the back a range of telephone services are promoted including dial a bedtime story, weather information, the speaking clock, gardening tips and dial a disc.
