There was a time when having a telephone in your house was quite a rare thing. This could make you popular with neighbours but equally, for many customers made you mindful of the costs of using it. So, you were keen to ensure that anyone using the telephone was prepared to at least make a contribution to the bill. This Buzby china money box measures 140mm high and carries the message within a telephone dial, Please pay for your call.


Buzby Telephone Kiosk Money Box

This metal money box features Buzby inside a telephone kiosk making a call. It measures 75mm x 75mm at the base and is 170 mm high with a removal slotted lid. The item is marked as copyright of P.O. Telecommunications, 1976, 1979 and was manufactured by Josam Bros. of London.
